The spoilers in q:
++ MC has been punished for "stealing" a ring from the princess (corporal punishment on arms and back),
++ was almost killed (and later abducted) for being witness of the second prince and ML dealing with pirates, even ended up in a naval fight with state of the art explosives.
++ was tortured by the empress on her legs and beyond (potentially dying as the torture was escalating) because the princess gave a different answer than the one they both agreed in the second trial, due to first prince provocation (nobody thought the princess could said that answer, EVERYBODY ASSUMED IT WAS MC PLAN)
++ And fell from a horse, barely surviving, due to first prince scheme while on the third trial, a hunting contest with no regulation or presence of the emperor. Nop. Just the 3 royal children potentially attempting on each other lives.

1. Art style looks good, great even but the art itself lacks a lot. Like they look aesthetic and all that but they're lacking emotions, they tend to be stiff at times
2. Not a fan of their eyes lately, it looks like its been blurred/smudged tf
3. The ml. Or if you're unaware, the oldest son. It's disgusting he's looking at fmc who is 12-13 btw (i stopped at 30 smth and peaked at 70 so im not sure if this still applies) but still she WAS 12-13 when they met and he alr had... Bothering thots over her, thots lol. Anw smn said he was 20+ which i dont blame lol bc he looks like it but if i were to give him the benefit of the doubt, he probs 17-19, which is still disgusting.
4. Plot wise, i understand her trauma ofc, like the family gave u hell but y tf did it just disappear one day when u decided to stay for hesashit
5. Hesarose? Hesashit lol yo back tf up man ur being too close to a damn child shirtless when ur oBV 200+ yo looking lik ur in ur late 20s
6. Apparently dad will die and im supposed to care? Idk the plot so far barely gave me anything to care abt that man
7. The god damn maid bro. When mc got kidnapped, like wtfdym you got too excited u didn't see your madame getting bullied right under ur nose++getting kidnapped LMAO and u got off without even a slap to the wrist thaz crazy
9. Plot holes and plot inconsistencies everywhere
Honestly I agree with most of it... I don't mind her and ml age gap cuz he ain't catching feelings for her looks... in big part he's being influenced by memories of past life kinda coming back... and he doesn't look at her... yk... with those kind of eyes... same with hesaros... he has 0 interest in her that way... and knows about her mental age and past life so im ok... but dang... author really did ml dirty. He looks good, bit looks too old! Lost count of how many times I confused him and the father while reading... he's suposed to be around 17 but looks almost 30...
The father... and even the brothers... they are trying... but they also feel she wants to keep the distance and try to respect it... but tbh they are not that bad... like... they're better than most families in comics aroud... and well he is hot... and it feels like a waste because he doesn't goes while you still hold a grudge over the past life... he goes after he keeps trying and getting a better relationship with mc and growing on you... like ok... off him of you must but do so before I get attached, not after dang it!
And yes... the art is absolutely gorgeous... but it feels too estatic, like reading a pictude book instead of a comic sometimes... so ye... agree with most of it...

2. the father's death was so sudden to the point that the plot felt like it's going haywire

4. All in all the plot doesn't feel like it's linear anymore lol, im def dropping this, i could see why this was getting sm hate ngl

He had a choice, tho? It’s not like his father would’ve killed him if he didn’t do it. He constantly was given choices and decided to treat his siblings like shit and live under his fathers thumb. He could choose to stand up for himself, which eventually I’m guessing he will which will even more show that he does have it. No one said the choice was easy, but it WAS A CHOICE. There’s plenty of people with obsessive-controlling parents and not all act like that. Is he a victim in this too? Sure. Is he without a fault? Absolutely not. Ante constantly enables and actively supports his fathers behavior. He is guilty, just not to the same degree.
As for puppets, aren’t most of these stories about how children are their parents puppets? Including MC, and they all show that there is a choice and a way out it, it’s just not easy. Also, what would the duke do if all of his children rebelled? He’s gonna kick all out? No successor? And how would that look to the nobility and his precious reputation? Not to mention Ante is also physically stronger than him. As much as he has a reason to be that way, reason is never a justification. They are victims (all siblings), yes, but I hate that whenever someone is in a difficult situation then people completely strap them of any accountability whatsoever. Even when it comes to the most heinous things (talking real like here, not Ante).
