i can't come to 100% hate this due to my hope the author is similar to the author of Killing Stalking in the sense it's supposed to be a thriller and not a romance. It's toxic on purpose because no one is supposed to be rooting for them to get together. We're supposed to hope the MC escapes. If I'm assuming wrong and it's a romance I'm dropping this faster than the weather changes in Canada.
