I'm a lesbian, but I like to read Manhwa/Manga about dudes even tho I'm not at all attracted to them. Idk why haha. I like to read what I think is nice and make reviews so that other people can easily find manga/manwha to read without having to search too hard!
Seriously, some of the people on here who are containing about certain things (ie, dubcon, noncon, shota, etc) being in these manga/doujin who can very well read the tags and go "oh, this isn't for me" but instead read it, get mad because they don't like it, and then shit on other people for liking it?
This happens all over Twitter too, and it's so irritating! These are not real people! They're drawings! It is literally up to ONLY YOU to regulate what you do and don't see, and if you don't like something then DON'T FUCKING LOOK AT IT!
Butting into spaces where you have no interest or like in and then calling people freaks for liking certain content is weird. You don't know why someone likes a certain thing, it could be a coping mechanism (which therapists actually approve of! Projecting trauma onto fictional characters is totally okay!) or it could just be something that someone likes in fiction! Problematic content has been around FOREVER, and it will continue to be around FOREVER.
Seriously... Just read the tags and cater to what you like, Mangago has a good tagging system that is easy to navigate so use it to your advantage!
And please don't comment stupid shit. Stay out of spaces that aren't meant for you, and read whatever the fuck you want!
