Sike. This is shit. The basic plot with the toxic male lead and infatuated mc. So fucking dumb. He treats the mc like shit yet he still comes back to him. I’m on chapter 55. After this much conflict the ml is still an asshole. He’s getting married after already ruining the mcs life with drug allegations. It’s so badly written I wanna cry. I’m typing this here not to recommend but to vent on how much time I wasted. I truly did root for the mc, I get how much he has done for his love and how his heart is pretty much dead because of this, but considering how the cover is those two means that the mc will go back with the toxic ass ml. He treats him like shit, has relationships with others, super manipulative and has violent tendencies. In my opinion I would rather have a new ml than the same one with a random spurt of character development. Tbh it’s not natural for the mc, it’s not in his personality to naturally become a nice guy. He acts gentle to put on a facade for the mc, trying to win him back only to be abusive again.
