Really liking this manga,the story is original,not the usual villainess trope,I like that she understood her wrongdoings and try to better herself,totally liking the prince too,who recognize immediately she changed for the better and help her without being too possessive wish them both happiness

She sincerely cares for Sing/Sang (They seem to switch between those two often). I don't mind what the FL is doing, a strong and independent woman standing up for herself while no one else is. She can't take the beating and do nothing about it. She has the power to stand up for herself and would be a fool not to use it. The only one I didn't take a liking to was the ML. His personality wasn't quite likable compared to the FL, especially how he watched the FL get harassed by his concubines. However, I can agree that the muzzle is weird. They could have replaced it with something more practical, for instance, a scarf or a mask.
I totally root for a strong FL,but as I said...treating her attendant like a puppy... and the ML is a total phsyco...

If he cares, why not confront the father about how his sister is treated? Why not let her know that he knows what she is going through and will be there for her? Sometimes if you go through abuse and see someone being treated like a human being will make you feel some type of way.
you completely forget that he’s still a child. A REAL child compare to the FL. It’s impossible for a child to confront you father for the abuse that his lil sis went through (even more if your father is the emperor). He can’t do nothing cause the more he hears the name of the FL the more the emperor gets mad (for example the idea that FL had and her brother tried to help but emperor went crazyyy). Only thing that he can do is grow ASAP and become emperor, help FL,… Aslong as he’s young, the only thing that he can do is love her. Till she opens up a little bit.
I don't like the male lead at this point he's unecessary cruel( hope I will change my mind in the future),to those who say that at the time it was common to kill all the family,no,sorry,usually the female members were spared (as commonly they were out of the intrigues and businesses of the family) and it's so strange to read how this emperor is a victim and poor guy and read the comments on "The Forgotten Empress" where lots of people hate that emperor who's literally another person from the first story time ╮(￣▽￣)╭
