I agree, why can't he just say he's already seeing someone, like??? That's so shitty of him. It doesn't make sense for me, cos if I were in that position I would've said that immediately. I really do believe that Shizuma is at fault here. Here's the thing, I've been rereading this and the whole time, if not MOST of the time, Minato has done nothing but adjust and accommodate him. And I get it, in relationships, sometimes we have to do some adjustments and etc. But NOTICE how Minato, always tries to understand Shizuma's situations, his dreams/work, not to mention his personality (which I think needs adjustments especially with how he treats others), and how Minato always ALWAYS gives in on him. Yes, he might act sassy and 'mean', but honestly he gives in pretty easily on Shizuma. And IT SHOWS in this chapter how Shizuma himself knows that Minato gives in on him, he didn't even consider possibly sitting Minato down and discussing things properly. ALL OF THIS CONSIDERING, Minato opened up to him about his past and how it affects him greatly still, especially regarding relationships. With that on the table, I can say that Minato is absolutely giving his all here, no matter how anxious he gets, no matter how his traumas come back to him, he is pushing forward for Shizuma and their relationship. On the other hand, I kinda am getting an immature vibe from Shizuma right now, somehow he's very dense and it's beyond me how he's not considering his partners past and trauma for what is happening right now. Also, don't get me wrong I am not saying Shizuma has to tiptoe around Minato and all that. It is just that right now there are lots of things that Shizuma has to develop in his character.
I've been crying at every chapter. I kinda didn't expect the extra chapter but it definitely opened the floodgates wider. The last line broke me. It's so beautiful that I'm still sobbing while writing this. I can't stop crying, I love this so much and my heart can't take this.
IS IT THAT HARD TO JUST CREATE ANOTHER CHARACTER TO BE HER LOVE INTEREST, THAT SOMEHOW HAS AN ABILITY, IS IMMORTAL, AND IS THE SAME AGE AS HER???!!!! Like we already committed to lots of characters, that in my opinion doesn't need to be a part of the plot for longterm. Another character will not hurt, goodness gracious. HEAR ME OUT, since there's so many gods and spirits in this story, how about another god/spirit that broke the rules and raised a human boy as their own child. And since they see him as their own, wanted him to be safe and sound all the time even if the god/spirit is not by his side anymore, he was somehow blessed with powers or abilities. Then in the future when their both grown they found each other, and since they can relate in many levels that they cannot with others, they fell in love. Then all the gods/spirits bless them idk, there can be many loopholes thru this, and make the guy immortal someway somehow. Like pls, just that much of a simple plot and they couldn't squeeze it in????!!!!! I AM IN TEARS FOR ANOTHER ROMANTIZATION OF WEIRD ASS AGE GAP （/TДT)/
