The reason why they did this instead of a written alliance or etc is because it’s a stronger way to create alliances if both royalties of different kingdoms become family. So instead of the traditional route of Wolfgang marrying the Queen, she decided to become familly by adopting Wolfgang.... essentially

Don't worry, it's not that important lol just the constellations like the bald general of justice is important, no need to memorize the other details cause they won't show up in the future (I read the novel and this is the least favorite part because it's all history and I don't get it XD)
It's because the story isnt catered to us foreigners lol, I'm pretty sure the Koreans are having a blast reading this because of all the references in their history and jokes only they can understand

in the future there'll be other constellation from another country, like greek gods and stuff,, in the recent chapter kim dokja stated that there are "grades" for stories. Lowest is historical, then fables, then mythical. The historical ones are the ones from each country or from that country's history. Then there's mythical which is know to other countries like greek "mythology" and stuff.
