I imagine there are a few that can but not the majority here the states. Not in my experience. Like that meal that was shown was a full course meal!

Some high schools and academy's do but many do not. Can also depending on what area/district in which you live. It can also be called different things and requirements will change, could be called home economics, family/consumer science, independent living ect but those will just teach you the super basics or are just plain health classes. its really just treated like an elective.
