The mc has been reallllyyyyy annoying me in the past few chapters. She had a literal mental breakdown because she couldn’t distinguish the fact that because she is an entirely different person to her original character, of course the plot would change. She’s also been raised as a strong and capable woman with empress training, and yet she’s this weak in the face of an attack? #－.－)
Except NOTHING had changed in the plot except for the fact that now SHE'S the woman that the emperor loves. The same events happaned, the emperor still said the exact same lines that he said in the story, he's just saying them to her. Her break down is because she's afraid that now SHE'S the "heroine" of the story because the ML loves her, but in the story the heroine dies. So given that everything else is the same except for her role it's reasonable for her to be afraid she's going to be assassinated.
And so then when an assassination attack happens it just confirms her fears. Who is going to be calm getting shot at and on top of that being certain they're going to die before of forknowledge? This is a regency style world and one where havign multiple wives is accepted, I highly doubt women were trained to be "capable", but rather trained to be good and virtuous wives. She was educated to be a noblewoman, not a warrior.
The empowers brother wasn’t in the book, neither were the events that he is investigating, and the attack is from those people, so these are all events outside of the storyline that she read.
She also was about to talk to this “unknown” suspicious character about reincarnation. The only reason the “heroine” dies is because of the bad actions she took and the bad relationships that were created as a result. She in this chapter even admitted that her character was locked up rather than killed for all the crimes she committed.
I’m not talking about being scared at being shot at, I’m talking about how she’s breaking down because she can’t rely on knowing the novel outcome.
I swear every chapter the director gets hotter and hotter and softer and softer. HIS SMILES, the side glances, ahhh he is so pretty
I put this off for ages but I really had the complete wrong idea about this manga, I read it all in one go it was amazing! So fluffy. So adorable.(▰˘◡˘▰)
