I went through most chapters expecting any hint to her spirit. Something to make a redeeming character besides being a "prodigy" LIKE BRUHHHHH something?? a personality?? this shit is so boring, nothing about her is interesting except for the mystery of what spirit is. She can't use magic either. She isn't confident with anything besides her grades. She blushed bc of Yuki every damn panel theyre in together, I'm cringing so fucking hard this is why I can't take historical mangas like this seriously. Y'all can downvote me but DAMN I wasted my time reading this repetitive straight ass fck story. This is why I stick to GL and BL bc straight shit like this makes me want to shove the entire story down a toilet bowl. I know what you mean by she does not have a strong personality, I find her lack of confidence due to her insecurity of not being able to communicate with a spirit, if you’ve been told your whole life that your a disappointment and your parent literally disowned you, you would be insecure as well.

Honestly, word. I've read BLs with blushed every panel but I tend to drop them do fast and even if I did read it to the end I would never recommend that shit to no one.
And yeah maybe I don't quite like her because she reminds me of myself, her insecurities and lack of confidence make sense but it pisses me off ngl. Everyone reacts to trauma differently and I’m sure there are ppl like her in RL, and you can’t help feeling aggravated and frustrated for her, since we see the story through her POV which means we’re kind of in her position, and who likes being in the position of a week person?
Maybe because I’ve read so many stories like hers that I’ve kinda gotten used to it, I know the feeling of utter frustration because the MC was just being a week dumbass.

The first set of side stories make more sense now. We all reacted with oh these characters are soooo out of character and would never do such things and then BAM. We see ML taking birth control and then reacting somewhat the same like his past by running away from FL. ML was so blinded by his want of FL even after his parents died you can tell how dark his mind went after that and yeahhhhh IG this story tho a bit fcked up make sense with it's plot and I genuinely find it great. I actually like the side stories because they make a lot of things make sense and answer the questions we initially had.
