I know there's gonna be romance but why would u ask a child if that's their fiancee.... weird ass mf
Well if you think in that time period and the fact that Kang Hyeon was recommended by the two most renowned musicians. One would assume it's his fiance as they would assume he is of high status.
Not only that since he is from Korea, in Asian culture has a lot arranged marriages without their children's permission which either are arranged by the elder of the family
u def put it into perspective so ty for that. imo it seemed to be more of a teasing remark that ruined the moment. tbh i still find it weird, asian or not but that’s me. they’re kids for crying out loud. let them breathe yk? but i won’t get into that further bc that’s pretty subjective. i can say that bc my asian mom was literally in an arranged marriage lol
A good friend of mine who was my tutor before was also subjected to an arranged marriage as well. I won't go in much detail but left the county to Italy with her boyfriend. But they loved around a lot to just avoid her parents to get proper citizenship. 3 years I think it took. Hope they are doing well, I bit annoyed she used my Facebook to play mobile games. >_>
Can't help but say my opinion, forgive me ;-; I get that you find it weird since they are kids but they can be arranged in a marriage while still be kids (act like kids and stuff) If they do get arranged, they will probably get married wayyyy later in life and if not they can just void that agreement.
But in the chapter, I think it was actually a genuine remark and nowhere near the teasing part. He was Chinese and probably from a prominent family too so he probably know how arrange marriages work in rich families. My first thought if I were him seeing how she looks like she loves Hyun would either be that she is his fiancé (given the family background ) or in the process of being one. :>
i just saw that shit eating grin and thought it was teasing lol. i think he wanted to get a reaction out of hyun or at least that was my interpretation of it. maybe it was an off handed remark idk. if ur engaged there’s always going to be a certain expectation, which will most likely affect ur child psyche. personally it also just makes me uncomfy when people try to push children into romantic relationships. in this case, he more so implied it (no pushing whatsoever im not saying he did that). based on what u said abt his background, it makes sense to think that way. but to ask so straightforwardly… i don’t think he had entirely pure intentions! but again that’s just what i think ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
The best doctor manhwa I’ve ever read. Seriously. The author blended the medical moments/action and information splendidly with the additional layer of drama antagonist Sangmin’s father (and maybe even Sangmin himself) added to the story. The romance here I don’t think can even be called a romance because it was just part of the MC’s life story I think. The only thing this manhwa lacked was proper closure for Sangmin. Despite his sins, I wasn’t a fan of how the MC basically just ignores Sangmin and doesn’t even approach him after he is jailed because it was clear that Sangmin has his own story to tell but doesn’t get the chance to. Because of that, the ending was a little lackluster for me. Still, I liked most of the characters. The supporting cast of the MC made the heavy drama more lighthearted and comedic. The writing was just so complex for the characters. I liked how they even though the MC is blessed by angels and all, he has his own share of failures and faults. I also think Sangmin’s dichotomies were portrayed well. On one hand he’s an amazing doctor and heir to a hospital but always comes second to Jihyun. He wears a smiling facade but suffers from a mental illness and suppresses his true emotions. Other side characters display emotional maturity that you’re expect from functioning adults. With exception to the ending, the writing was freaking masterful. I loved this so much!! 10/10 for me
the blond guy is so hawt
