It was quite as the summary stated… Not much to it. It’s a sort of open ending in that it feels unfinished. MC accidentally calls a gay escort service, gets blackmailed a little, and loses his virginity to a younger dude. There’s no substance to the story. It’s like I ate a spoon full of nothing, expecting at least a little flavor. I liked the vibe of the art, though.

The ending… It's been a long time since I've felt so satisfied after reading a manhwa. This truly— The pacing was absolutely terrific in my opinion. After every chapter, I kept wanting to read more and more. Despite being an ordinary person with no knowledge of the law, I could and did enjoy this comic very much. It was just enough, so that it wasn't overwhelming and also had a pretty realistic conflict. The story opens with a mysterious premise and ends with little to no plot holes! The grim reaper girl wasn't really explained, but I'd like to think that her resentment was so strong that she became a spirit that could reverse time or, simply put, give the MC a chance to live anew. Other than the MC's unearthly fighting prowess, the story is pretty reasonable. Step by step, the MC takes down antagonist Jo Taesup. He's cold and calculating, but that's what I loved about him! I'd only read manhwa about defense attorneys that made prosecutors out to be the bad guys, and this changed my perspective on them. The MC's serves justice in his own way, punishing those who need to be punished in the name of the law. Funnily enough, there are important female characters that go gaga over him. But it's not pronounced! I liked that it was more of subplot and the female lead was left ambiguous. The character relationships were very defined, and I liked that I could understand what the side characters' actions and their personalities. MC here is a good example of the lone wolf type. Also interesting how this manhwa dove into corruption in politics and the price one has to pay to be the "good guy." MC does beat Taesup in the end. I suppose you could say the ending was "too good to be true," but it was enjoyable all the same. Loved it! Great lawyer comic. This also was the comic the taught me that both prosecutors and defense attorneys are lawyers lmao.

Just hear me out… I quite like this manhwa, and I do have to agree that if you were to have a ratio of the ******* moments to plot elements, the former would greatly outnumber the latter. But! The plot elements that ARE present are very imaginative. It could just be that the translation isn’t shitty, but certain parts really moved me (e.g. the ML/uke’s backstory). It’s become more than just your typical “oh my boss has a dirty secret and wears lingerie” kind of story but one that also covers toxic masculinity and embracing yourself. I mean, c’mon, we’re talking about Korea here. Their couple dynamic is actually so, so sweet, and the art is so, so good. I’m personally a big fan of puppy dog tops, so that was a plus… *cough* But that’s besides the point. Of course, the story isn’t perfect. Like wdym there’s some annoying guy who has blackmail material on the ML and is a huge jerk?? A few plot points are a bit cliché (misunderstandings, etc.) , but I don’t think it’s too much of a downside. Good read.
