This is really toxic! Both leads are incredibly manipulative, and I truly believe that reading this is not for the faint of heart. Buttt if you’re like me and enjoy drama that’s frustrating yet addictive, I think you’d enjoy this manhwa in some strange way. I liked how raw the MC and the ML got emotionally, almost as if they were stripping themselves entirely to the other person. We see the ugly sides of them all too well. You could say even say it’s realistic. It’s not the most likable story, and I can definitely see why people wouldn’t want to read this. I personally kept reading as I was curious as to how the nature of their relationship would change. From an abusive one to…? The MC and the ML are incredibly incredibly dynamic, I like the recurring themes, and the art is splendid. It was an interesting choice of the author's to choose a sand castle as a mode of representing "forever." I'm especially glad this had a happy ending and that their relationship becomes so healthy at the end.

The MC’s ex is really like the boy who cried wolf. She did so many unforgivable things to the MC, it’s only natural that he doesn’t believe half of what she says, even if it’s the truth. She’s so infuriatingggg

I really want to like this… I really do. but the main characters are so unlikable. Maybe it was just the translation, but that’s how it felt for me… The miscommunication is getting on my nerves, too. Plus, I really dislike the emphasis on the MC’s sexual appeal. I get it’s from the ML’s POV but combined with the MC’s stubborn yet timid self… *sigh* It’s as if I can feel every twist coming from a mile away. The story sometimes tries to be funny with the dynamic and stuff, but it ultimately falls short. (And there was no reason for the ML’s wet dream to last 2+ chapters ) Not my cup of tea. But at least the art’s great!
Also, for those of you who do like this manhwa, what do you like about it? I’m genuinely curious.

I think that’s the whole point the miscommunication the old fashion oh, so classic miscommunication romances but with extremely good art also knew they threw a kid in there and for BL even if they do have a course miscommunications this one feels so classic to the point that it feels like a straight, romance plot
basic to the point that it’s comforting and that’s the point of this it’s supposed to be kind of cringe, but some thing you’re used to seeing you know what’s going to happen kind of what I will say that the reliever points like the jokes fall flat and I do think it needs another something to relieve you from the pressure of the miscommunication. But that’s basically what I like it I do get annoyed ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
