This manga is great for tackling about real hostoric problems like political marriages, civil war, land management but some of the solutions are bit too unreal. Some of the problems are easily smoothed over, especially at the beginning, since all the orphan children are not even teenagers yet, I expected them to have a bit more difficulty in surviving. It's like the author only wishes to show the positive side of the mc's journey.
I sometimes feel that the MC is a bit wishy washy, although he's leading the people, it seems like he's doing it cuz it's what's expected of him. I've been trying to figure out his main motivation or goal at least, but I still can't figure it out.
Also there's very little excitement for me. I feel that their worries are a bit nonsense since the MC knows about modern invention. I just feel that he could've become more powerful (influencial) if he'd introduce more of his knowledge and be able to avoid direct conflicts with his enemies.
Its a sugar coated fluffy version to make it more palatable. Thatcsaud, this is still much more serious and realistic than 90% of jp transmigration manga. Its a nice middle ground for those who want substance but dont want anything too dark.
I was hesitant cuz of the harem tag but srsly this is far from a harem, romance tag is more fitting. So far Anna is his only love (he did confirm that his love) though he never did share his feelings towards any of the other witches.
Especially towards Nightingale, there seems to be some attraction but not at the same level as his love for Anna. Maybe eventually it'll develop more, but at this stage I wouldn't mind that (tho my otp is Anna and Roland) cuz Nightingale an his relationship is pretty damn deep already. It's not like other harem where the girls seems to have some attraction to him then boom, harem. If Nightingale does form a relationship with him, I know it'll a healthy and genuine one.

I don't like Evan but he's really made some messed up decisions and he's still young (puberty rlly. One moment he's evil n scheming, next he's scared n crying) so that's probably gonna bite him back. I just hope his potential isn't destroyed because of his mistakes. I still don't like him tho.
Family problems are a real shit to deal with. I hope we don't lose Niiro. And don't hurt half elf girl or you're no better than Evan.
