You can use Google translate if you want, coz the raws is in Vietnamese. It's just takes time typing the words, but it's worth it.lol

wow, you did great job. thank you

I really love this Manga but since there has been no update for a long time a thought came to me....if viewfinder will ever end how will it end
I really can't see a "happily ever afte" ending like in most Yaoi since compared to them Viewfinder is more practical and serious . So what will happen? I am really curious to know what others think of an ending.....

I don't think it will end happily ever after. I think it will probably end 'happily for now' like at the end of the Naked Truth arc: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/you_re_my_loveprize_in_viewfinder/mh/v05/c030/43/
It could have finished there, and not all the loose ends would have been tied up, but they are clearly 'together for now' and who knows what the future holds.

I guess you are right ...that sounds favorable and something sensei would do...

Hmmmmm maybe or if there has to be a concrete ending then I think one of our fans will die...like if ( God forbid) Aki dies then Asami being Asami will move on with his life but with a hollow gap in his heart which only Aki could fulfil.
And if Asami is gone the Aki will be left devastated....

Haha - oh gosh. I don't *think* Yamane Ayano will kill either of them off. I think she's a little bit too soft-hearted for that - like with Fei Long and Yoh not dying because they were fan favourites. She says in the vol 5 notes:
In fact, Fei Long seems to be marked for death from the very beginning... but as long as FINDER remains a BL story, that fate is very unlikely. In the same "marked for death" boat is Yoh, but even as a mere side character, he received so much support from readers that his fate was secured as well.
...but if she does, my god the fandom melt down would be epic. My vote in that case would be for Asami taking a bullet for Akihito and in his final moments in Akihito's arms admitting his feelings. Not a dry eye in the house and Akihito angst forever.

I feel like the internal story of Akihito and Asami's feelings for each other is coming to an end. Now that Akihito has admitted to himself how he truly feels about Asami and understands how Asami feels about him, that conflict that has driven the story from chapter one is mostly resolved. All it really needs is for the external story--the action plot with Yuri and Mikhail and whatever is going on there--to drive a moment where they openly commit to each other (not necessarily "I love you," but you know, the general idea of it.)
So if we get that, if they both survive what's going on right now, I think that's pretty much the happy ending and it could fade into the sunset right there. Actually, that's the wrong ending cliche. Let's say it could go out with a bang. Har har. I absolutely don't expect either of them to die and will melt down with everyone else if that happens.
Where do you think the story could go from the end of this arc? It's really been Akihito's struggle with his feelings that has provided the tension for seven volumes (not counting volume 2.) There are all kinds of external things that could drive the plot but I think it would have to be something that was either fueled by or ignited something personal between Asami and Akihito.

Well, shit. Every theory sounds so practical, and probable too. But I can't help but be *that* fan who somehow wants a mushy, lovey-dovey ending for these two. √(^ _ ^;;) I honestly doubt I'd even be ok with a 'Happily-for-now' scenario, for I desire something more complete, heartwarming, fulfilling, and yes, maybe a bit unrealistic and unlike the general strain of Viewfinder.
I'd be the 'crazy-over-attached-fan-with-mascara-running-with-tears' fan, should the 'fandom meltdown' be caused by a sad ending. Should something angsty happen, I might even stop reading right before that and make up my own 'Happily-ever-after' in my head.
I'm an idiot. (- _ -;)

I think you're right about Akihito's emotional arc coming to an end (I hope so, it's been going for years, and starting it up again would feel like a backwards step.) What I'd like to see next, if it doesn't end, is an arc which deals with the moral implications of Asami’s criminal activities coming home to roost.
Sensei has hinted repeatedly in the manga that one of the themes is Akihito being morally compromised by his relationship with Asami. There's lots of references to being sucked into Asami's darkness, falling down the rabbit hole, falling into Asami's world etc but the implications haven’t really been fleshed out. Asami has an ability to draw people to him - Fei Long, Sudou, Kuroda, Kirishima and inspire intense feelings, that's been made quite clear. The only ones who seem immune - Mikhail, Sakazaki - are corrupt already. This arc has Akihito is working for Asami to find out who leaked the photo, having earlier sworn that was something he'd never do.
So the next arc could look at that particularly. They have mutually acknowledged feelings for each other, but that doesn’t mean what Asami does is right. So perhaps something like Asami under investigation by a DA who can’t be bought? A trial which puts Asami and Akihito on difference sides of a moral issue. Does Akihito give evidence – he knows Asami has killed people – does Asami spend time in prison (excellent opportunity to draw him in handcuffs again.) I could see lots of potential in a conflict like that – I care for you, but I have to make this stand against you - if you care for me, why would you betray me like this - Intense staring across a court room, snatched moments during a prison visit, a prison break out, Akihito in protective custody, is Asami watching him? does he intend to revenge himself for Akihito’s betrayal…? (Answer yes, probably – with sex...).
That's just an example, but anyway an arc to conclude that unfinished theme of moral corruption - that okay you love each other, but Akihito you have been sucked into Asami’s darkness as you always feared – so now what? - is an idea that could be developed.

Can anybody tell me what is the meaning of the words written in lowest left corner panel of this page
http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/you_re_my_loveprize_in_viewfinder/mh/v06/c032/20/
Please

The word is "dong" which is a sound for clamouring~

I see...thanks

June translates it as "whump," which I took to be Akihito pushing Asami away.

If you look at the panels following (the position of Akihito's arm and body, what looks like some kind of fluid flying from Asami's face, and then Asami rubbing his lip), I think it's safe to assume that Akihito struck him.
The weird thing is the kana is different in the tankōbon than in the scan found here. Mine has the kana "don", which means "bang" or "boom", but the accompanying translation is "WHUMP!".

Huh, I hadn't picked up that Akihito had struck Asami, I'd thought he'd just shoved him away, but it seems from the sound effect that he did slap/ hit him.
I'm surprised Asami's reaction is so mild...

I'm sure he likes it, that's why I'm surprised his reaction is so mild. Often when Akihito shows defiance, Asami's all over him talking about what a turn on it is.

Yes, but it's not just defiance. This time Akihito actually struck him.... and it's not the first time either.
You know what I think? I think Asami has a deeply buried, wild masochistic streak that manifests itself very rarely and only under the right conditions... and Akihito triggered it there. The look on his face after Akihito hits him reads, "That was... HOT..."

*cough* ... Sorry. Nothing really to see here. Carry on.
I have been seeing this comment often now that this manga has flopped or is a flop now. Is this true? I am not from Japan so I dont't know but If the sales aren' t good enough will the author stop serialising halfway through?
yes
oh god u mean this is going to be cancelled completely?
Σ(っ°Д °;)っ
Nooooooo. I still love it so much. It's fine if the story ends but not halfway left unfinished. I can't handle another feng yu jiu tian.
I admit the story has largely moved away from the realm of possibility but the story is till interesting. There's also some plot holes but most can be forgiven since this is a fantasy manga.
I also feel like some of the plot holes can be explained as well such as Asami's lack of bullet proof vest is just lack of resources. They did the raid in a hurry without enough preparation and also they didn't know Aki would be there until they reached the island so there might be shortage. Also lack of guards outside Aki room is not Asami fault since he was unconscious. It was the kirishima who never like Aki to begin with and FL's responsibility. FL might have thought the Aki was not in danger since Mik seemed to be taking care of chernobog and hence his lapse of proper judgement.
Honestly the biggest plot hole I see is the working of chernobog, as somebody mentioned before, the decisions they make don't make sense.
Sorry of this seemed like a rant :)
I don’t know actual sales figure but it’s not flopping in terms of sales, the new chapter cover has the words ‘super popular series’ so I assume it’s doing well. Flopping in terms of story quality is up to individual opinion however. There’s many things I’m disappointed in right now but we’ll see how it goes after this.
God that's a relief. Ive been reading this since i was a teen. I cant die without reading asami and akihito's happy ending. Id fly to japan if i have to if sensei doesnt finish this lol ill bang at her door at midnight lmao. Happy New Year ya'll btw.
It's just butt-hurt trolls. Viewfinder sells big and Asami is on the magazine cover again!
I don’t know if this helps but Be Boy Gold magazine that serialises Finder -with Asami on front cover -is currently no 1 best seller and was unusually unavailable for overseas buyers until a day after preorder date. All the while preorder sales in Japan keeping it at no. 1 in Yaoi category. :)
On Amazon jp
It's not (=・ω・=)
Hard copies of magazines are still big in Japan
