If anyone is to blame and be upset at it’s the father. You bring this young boy in because he’s the child of your first love (like your actual wife ain’t even in the building!!) and then you put the responsibilities on your eldest child to look after him. If you weren’t willing to provide the child with everything ranging from physical to emotional care then you would of did best to not take in the child. Then your eldest grows this sudden deep connection with the child, takes the child away for them two to live off somewhere and you as the father is just like “oh okay cool” …I mean idk…I guess it’s better than had this story been about the boy and the father who took him in cause I think the readers would be even more upset. Anyways the two black haired dudes are DEFINITELY brothers….hell twins at this point…they stay making that “I’m a whore” face
