I understand why people complain that this is written badly and the plot is going in circles, but that's just real life. People are unable to figure out their feelings, and it's impossible for a problem to be solved just like that and happily ever after. It's frustrating because this is fiction and readers want to see a conclusion, but also props to the author for going at their own pace honestly.

Also, if anyone is looking for something similar, I recommend An Uncomfortable Truth. But in my opinion it's a lot darker than this.

**spoiler warning***
Tbh I found an uncomfortable truth a lot more.. unsettling, mostly because of when the reader was shown the world from yeoseob's pov with the mangled looking faces. I found yeoseob's character a lot creepier than namsoo, because he just seems like he has zero emotion whatsoever while namsoo is more puppy like. Also because it's hinted that namsoo is able to overcome his mental illness, the story ends on a much lighter and more positive note than an uncomfortable truth which honestly just left me with heart wrenching PAIN and then emptiness LOL

The author is very good at creating auras for certain scenes, especially that suspenseful or unsettling feeling which is not easy since most suspense movies use sound or music to help. Also, since this was created over the course of a year, you can really see the art improvement comparing the beginning and the end. Even though the middle felt a bit repetitive with the bullying scenes and slow development, overall it was good, and the characters in my opinion where written really well. I can see this becoming a movie or maybe a short drama.
so i guess this is a criticism of shark fin soup and shark fin used as a chinese medicine... whenever i got good grades as a kid my parents would always treat me to shark fin soup because it's expensive, now i feel bad. they should really ban it, there's no way to farm it without disrupting the ecosystem
