Like legitimately frightened of the seme, at least through the beginning of the story. (I don't mean the seme to be an evil person though) Maybe he has a frightening appearance or works in the underworld, or even just a simple misunderstanding that makes the uke think he's in danger around the seme, something like that. (I have no problem with there being rape in the story or with it not and the reason he's frightened doesn't even necessarily have to be something to do with the seme in particular) Sorry it's such a broad question but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)
