I know the debate here is that we should give her a chance because she might not be fully ‘homophobic’ but come on now, she should mind her own business.
Anyways, I don’t mind this slight irritation. It’s probably to build conflict in which is normal in every comics, to build character growth, sending a message, or simply to spice up the story.
As of now, I’ve liked the way things have been going and how the author wrote this story. So, whatever happens, I have full trust on them (well— not full, maybe 90% with 10% caution).
