I have to say, I'm a little more than halfway through the story, and the "maid" Anna is getting on my nerves. I normally hate to crush peoples hopes and happiness and what-not, but god she is so annoying. Thinking that the duke would have an affair with her? If he did end up marrying the "saint" Susan, and assumed to be in love with her, why would he choose an angry, unkind, unkempt, non-charming girl to have an affair with? Why would he even have an affair!
Even if he did have an affair, he would have most likely gone for one of two kinds of women. Either some other gorgeous/sexy lady, but Susan already fills that role anyway, or a graceful, charming beauty, similar to Adelaide. Anna is neither of those and is not really the kind of person people choose for her looks or personality.
Again, I hate to bash people based on looks, but it's mostly personality wise that she lacks. She doesn't have any good qualities to bring her partner other than hate for the upper class, hate for those prettier than her, jealousy, mouthiness, and many other bad traits.
Rant over, I just really dislike her, probably as much as I hate Susan. I'll see how this story ends but I do kind of wish the Duke would just say "Why would I ever choose you?" Mean, but damn if I'm not petty in my fantasy stories.
Ok, I just read chapters 57 and 58 and wow, this maid is crazier than I thought. She's like those gross guys who think someone being kind to you once means you want to bone. I'm so happy the Duke was like "You're crazy" Plus all that is happening with Susan too. Nice
I’m sorry, but Seonho is completely in the right here. Muyeong knew that his friend was essentially faking it. For months too! And at first Seonho was super supportive and nice about it, even knowing that something fishy was going on. But after 5 months, to always be put in 2nd place for that long would make anybody upset.
I can’t believe glasses asshole is being this manipulative, knowing that he is destroying his friends relationship! How selfish can you be? That’s not love, that’s possession, he said it himself. He was more interested in the feelings of superiority that he got from Muyeong. Being the only one who knew he was gay, being his only friend at first, experiencing new things with him. It’s not Muyeongs fault or duty to take care of him. I wouldn’t care if my best friend started walking again after five months of he pulled shot like that constantly. I’d say “congrats, you’re an asshole who can walk and I’m done with you.” That’s not how you ducking treat people. God I’m so upset with him.
I know that stories like these can sometimes be boring. I remember at least one other story similar to this, where god accidentally killed a guy so he granted him the wish of reincarnation with his memories, and he learned magic there which turned out to be kanji so he was also super op.
I just like the occasional story where everything works out. Where they get to show off their skills and be the cool person. Really comforting sometimes.

I find the translation to be a little confusing. It seems like some parts were lost. In chapter one they talked about how he was the only son, but then it turns out he was the third. However, I find it funny that in the beginning Nekoya kept transforming and just leaving his clothes everywhere. Did Kurosawa just think he starts streaking when he gets stressed?(=・ω・=)
