That wasnt for the career thingy...that was actually a flashback from 3 yrs ago, it was for disposing mc's sperm sample after replacing it with his....at first jinyao told the secretary to dispose of mc's sperm sample after replacing it with his, but then he told the secretary not to dispose of it yet.

im not sure yet, nah i dont think he liked yiyi from way before, he just found yiyi the best choice to be the candidate as substitute father for his kid, since they are both asian and it's easier to keep an eye on them if the candidate is from the same country. there are some missing pages from chap 16 but it shows there jinyao monitored them where his subordinate sends him updates with pictures. he even discreetly send supplies like high quality diapers cause rourou is allergic to the one yiyi buys. he even got an encrypted folder in his phone that contains yiyi and rourou's pics together.
jinyao doesnt hate yiyi or anything only that he just thinks yiyi is unreliable as he cant juggle work with childcare, and he thinks it's better to change career as yiyi had already been in the entertainment industry for too long and he had barely made a name yet. but lets yiyi be seeing yiyi being determined to succeed. and starts caring for him and rourou. jinyao is persistent in taking rourou away, cause he wanted to shield him from scheming uncle who had started investigating hospitals...obviously rourou wont be safe with being with yiyi alone.
i havent gotten that far from google translate yet. it takes a lot of time for me to transcribe them since i had to write the characters manually in google translate, and i translate everything down to sfx XD. at most i had scanned thru some chaps. i barely understand some stuff without using google translate. but i saw he did introduce yiyi as rourou's other father to his grandfather tho ahahahaha, then yiyi took a chance one time to pull a hair from jinyao and verified the dna secretly and got a result that showed 99.99999% not sure if yiyi re-verified his and rourou's tho....
