There’s a few chapters explaining his attachment to Sihyeon and how it stems from him having abandonment issues. Dajeong isn’t stupid, he has mental issues too and that’s why he’s with Sihyeon.
He was doing fine without him after they broke up. For him to go back and Siyeon to not have any real development makes the progression in this story cyclical and disappointing. Which if it were a story about the cycle of abuse from the get go that’d be fine but it wasn’t so I’m personally left miffed and irritated by the characters and their choices.

Yeah I think the author is trying to throw us off by making it seem like Guwon did it. But then guwon tells him what actually happened and he gets his memories or something. It hs seems so suspicious that he’s there as if it is a dupe
