I understand the logic of the law but the punishment I think should be that he’s forced to go out and find double the medicine he stole. If successful, he’s repaid his debt and had to experience the turmoil of the outside world which would certainly steel him from doing it again. But he’d also be stronger for it and a more useful member of the town should fighters be needed.
If he fails…..he’d die outside and that be that. But he’d at least have a chance.
Killing him is actually quite wasteful out top of it being absolutely fucked where child is concerned. But extreme apocalyptic circumstances lead to extreme choices but there is a better way.

Who is the poofy haired bitch talking to. I liked him at first but he being really rude

Yeah not just hints he's trying to rile him up for him to notice his own feelings in the first part but no later he had to mention about being an omega of course and then spoke of his opinion no one asked for anyways so yeah not just that he's just saying to our main character that he doesn't like him

They all suck hard and should’ve died but my favorite by far was Chan. To me he at least treated Yugeon like a person between the crazy ritualistic gangrapes. Idk this whole story is kinda falling flat trying to wrap things up with a cute bow.
The men treat Yugeon like a sex slave for like 70 chapters and now we just supposed to laugh and be merry?

I'm more so frustrated with the MC. Yeah the guys are all complete trash, and we have known that from the beginning. I'm upset that the MC never grew any self-respect. I would feel much better about this "happy ending" had the MC actually gone through character development instead of being a doormat from beginning to end. It's unsatisfying.
To the people wondering why he killed the doctors wife and kids I think he is filling an arbitrary quota in his head.
Stillwater is a figment of Guwons idyllic version of the world. I think your “usefulness” to community is determined by the role you can fill/play in the facade. We don’t know if the three kids that are already in the town were there before the doctor…if they were then perhaps for Guwon that quotas been filled.
He is very much like a child-king he operates on ideology he is obviously to uninformed to truly implement let alone comprehend. But because he hold the reigns of security and power people bend over backwards to placate him and “yes” him into a state of pseudo-solipsism.
He does not have the mental nor emotional acuity to lead but because of the state of the world his overwhelming physical prowess makes him nigh impossible to deny.
I think Teach is very quickly going to be put in a precarious situation of being pushed and prodded by the wims of the community because he holds the key to Guwons world view/decisions.
This is so interesting.
Honestly I think this is the best comment, really well explained and I think you’re right
That seems like the most likely theory for now. Perhaps this quota comes from some very specific memories. Something in his recesses of his mind recalls a small village he lived in with three kids/siblings, one doctor, teacher, some "hounds" as in dogs, etc. Or a similar setting in a lab bc homie for sure was man made.
It might also be less about quota and just about his very limited exprience with humanity that makes him off the useless folk like that. He doesn't understand the use for "people who can learn anything", because in his mind he needs doctors, teachers, fighters etc.
He doesn't register good grades or smarts. The kids within the village might've in some way proven themselves useful. Maybe they can pick locks, sew or what have you, or simply given Guwon a good enough response to make themselves seem useful to him. Just to throw my own bone into what you're cooking.
