I did start reading it. the art was good, the story well, it was somewhat enjoyable. The "action scenes" were nice. But it quickly went downhill. It got cringy. I can relate to your first problem. I'm from a 3rd world country so, I can't think of paying for something like this no matter how much I want to right now. I think there are different ways of supporting the authors, talking about their work, making fanart, promoting their work.
