    try talking with about the subject first, I mean where they stand regarding the lgbtq+ community. This will help you estimate how they will react to when you finally come out. If you feel like it’s all gonna be good or you think they’ll react fine, try giving hints first. Or you can also come out over a dinner or something. I mean not sure honestly, I never came out to my parents. I just gave them hints that I have a gf hahaha

    I think you should firstly ask for their opinion on lgbtq community. Like will they be accepting a non straight person. Why and why not? So this will give you an idea for approach. I did the same and asked my parents. Unfortunately I got a negative reply so I haven't told them that I'm not straight.
