For someone who's supposed to be a "genius" and perceptive, she's pretty dumb when it comes to the Crown Prince lol. She's always confuse as to why the prince is nice and in love to her this time around, isn't obvious that its because she isn't a bitch anymore??? Isn't that her whole goal when she woke up as Elise again? To not be a spiteful bitch anymore and change the future??? The answer is right in front of her lol but anyway, she's a breathe of fresh air compare to other female leads that think they're smart for doing the bare minimum but still unconsciously rely on the male lead while Elise really just wants to be a doctor.
Is it me or is the idea of Sungyeon remembering their past life got dump along the way?? I mean, I was actually expecting it to be the case because of all the built up the author is doing by showing their past life and it would actually explain Sungyeon's personality a lot. The way he just suddenly pursued Hosik since they first met is because he knows him already and why he is so possessive and pushy is because they couldn't be officially together as a married couple in their past life
because of their gender and because Hosik died right in front of him. It just make a lot of sense that he remembers their past life, so did the author just decided to like throw that away?????
Edit:Lol I just read the raws and I'm kinda right??? But it's still so weird that their past life is only fully revealed at the side stories instead in the main story but anyway still a cute read if you ignore the rape-y beginning, though he didn't "technically" raped Hosik but accepting consent from a drunk person who could barely walk and having sex with them is still morally questionable.
Lippie having a mid-life crisis at her 1st birthday is the most hilarious thing here lol
