The buff from the system is leveled up intelligence that fits her hunter rank so I'm not surprised that she can read. What the system doesn't give her is common sense ╮(. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)╭
I think she also got a buff from the system, so she would be able to read right? Hokipoki
I thought it was that too but in chapter 2 or 3 where the system already increased her intelligence, she was asked to read some paper and all she knew was A for “Apple”, so I was under the impression that only her emotional intelligence was buffed or maybe the system decided that reading was not really a skill needed for her to find suitable guardians.

I mean, she’s still a child. I don’t think the system will suddenly removed her childish innocence. However, in chapter 2 or 3 where her intelligence was already increased, she was asked to read some paper and all she knew was A for “Apple”. Then, few chapters later, she can suddenly because it’s necessary for the plot? So, the system can just suddenly give her a buff every now and then, so long as it’s necessary to the context?

If I remember correctly the system changed its way of communicating with her to one suitable for her age but since we read in english it looks the same to us with the translation

Well I'm going off from the book and the system does level up her intelligence a great deal. Which, as mentioned before, is a double-edged sword coz she doesn't have the experience or common sense to back up her theories. Her ideas are mostly harmless though so there's that. It helps that she doesn't have a malicious bone in her body.
Wait, it was the previous heads from 300 years ago that made that deal. However, the ml is already alive when the 1st head wasn’t even the head. Doesn’t that mean he made that deal? Or was it a figure head that made it in his stead?
same its kinda odd bc i keep looking back at the scene when he first met the first family head of fl’s family, that guy was way too young in that page but when i look back at the first chapter where they made the deal-contract, hes become much older
I’m at ch11, Bastian is bratty, rich, and handsome with a sprinkle of baby girl. Very tamaki coded of him (from ouran high school host club). Does he stay this way?
Ignoring the semi-“forced” child marriage involved, I thought it would turn out that the government wanted cryptids to become extinct by pairing them up with humans so they can’t procreate but I’m glad it went more wholesome. It did feel a bit furry-ish at times but it was funny.
Why can she suddenly read now lol?
Assuming she also goes to kindergarten everyday, she probably learned how to read better there(?)
