I don’t like nor sympathise with him but I understand him, he had two choices: massacre the Moira clan or have his whole family and vessels be executed for treason. He naturally chose HIS lesser evil for him(I argue it was NOT a lesser evil). He’s inherently a kind person forced to do evil but that doesn’t erase his doings. But I do hope the curse breaks for the sake of FL who is likely the clan’s descendent, I’m sure they wouldn’t like their little one to have a difficult life, he should contribute the rest of his life for the sake of reviving the clan with FL as ‘atonement’.
