No, it would be weird if he didn't. Extreme alphas can turn betas into omegas with their pheromones. There is a reason the guards for extreme alphas are gammas, but even they need a break. And they are using the candies too, to hold out longer. It was explained in the novel.

Same. This manhwa is great but it lacks those lazy moments in between arcs. There are some, but never enough..

It's really gives more the impression of Cale just wanting to have slacker life but still taking responsibilities, I love cutie interaction with him and his childreeeen
To be fair, the manhwa is literally not even half of the novel, heck, not even a quarter of it so I think the artist is moving things faster by skipping a few parts but still keeping the main parts intact.
