Reading comments like these just seems so sad, you would drop a manhua just because it’s Chinese, not because of art style or the story. Seems like you are just missing out on a lot of good content just because of sinophobia.

But she says Chinese cuz 'generally' chinese plots are stupid. She means the story is bad, similar to manhuas.Btw i didn't read this one but i just wanted to explain.

Yeah i understand your point. Until i tried to read some manhuas , i didn't understand why people say 'chinese' to every bad one they read. Now i understand their point too but it's totally normal for it to be misunderstood as sinophobic ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Idk about you but ive read too many manhuas and most if not all are bad(unless you like reading stories about romanticizing rape or stockholm syndrome, I wont judge you) .lmao.this is actually the first time ive read someone call someone's comment sinophobic for hating chinese manhua. I suggest you try reading chinese mahua and youll know what she means

I do, I read a lot of them, there are good ones and there are bad ones. Some are bad because they are badly translated. Others because of the story and art. I know some are bad because they are badly translated because I am Chinese, so I can check out the raws.

And no,we dont need to specify it because by mentioning chinese ,anyone would already know that it refers to typical manhua- most of which are just not likeable. But i kinda understand why you acted like a snowflake,considering youre chinese, but you have to understand that the commentor here just pointed out her preference in comics-that she doesnt like chinese manhua,its not sinophobic or anything like that. Also i think she mentioned korea because most josei/shoujo manhwas are really good compared to chinese manhua-again its all about preferences.

I've read Chinese manhua's with incredible art and nice storylines but they are far and few in between. Some start with detailed art and execution and literally just crashes and burns as the story progresses so much so there's a distinct regression when comparing an earlier chapter to the latest ones. I've read chinese manhua's on official sites so the translation wasn't that incorrigible but at the same time the stories were awful. They had a similar cookie cutter plot, no room for character development and blatant misogyny under the guise of romance. They also dragged on for 500 - 600 episodes just milking the same storylines for no reason. That's why they have a bad reputation in general, I have an automatic aversion to all chinese manhuas for that reason. Because if you've read one you've read them all. Once again there are some good ones but they're not enough to redeem them hordes of horrible ones.

I'm sure none of the guards actuslly like their master, except for the 7th proncess. Ithe seems like the white hair guy also took an interest in her and wanted her to choose him. I think the 3rd princess' guard took a liking to her too. Not as in romantic but like a feeling of finally someone who can change then empire.

Nope, take the white hair as an example. Him and rose are connected but white hair isn't really fond of her, he just has to follow her orders cause they have a bond, but in reality he keeps having lingering thoughts about eve(mc). You can notice that he stares at her quite a bit. Just because their bonded, doesn't mean that he can't have hidden malice against her.
