i feel its not his intention but it's definitely looking that way. honestly,, what i really hate is that he talks so ill about inbeom. i get his experiences with him has been rough and harsh, but that doesnt mean itll be the same for others. idc if he's warning seunghee, it's still a shit move to do that bc it has the same energy as spreading a rumour.

I read the raws a bit, I won't spoil you (Suhyeok-Seunghee's beginning from Suhyeok's pov) but just looking at the chapter released here I can say that it's like a chain:

Inbeom: gimme the goddamn picture so I can get my memory back and gtfo of your house

Suhyeok: I won't give it to you cause it's not the one you're looking for (plus it's my boyfriend so you could misunderstand)

Seunghee: Suhyeok I just blurted out we're dating don't get mad at me, Inbeom is not thaaat bad.

Inbeom: yas, with this I can push Suhyeok even more and corner him into give me the goddamn picture of Kyubin's crush.

Inbeom might not be a bad friend to Seunghee BUT that doesn't make him the best cousin.
Suhyeok was chill, providing some info he got FROM KYUBIN HIMSELF while living his life and trying to get closer to Seunghee but now Inbeom is working with the info he's getting from Seunghee to put pressure on Suhyeok (his minion in his own words) so of course he wants to finish this trouble now, he's afraid he tells his parents he's dating a boy.

This chain won't break until Inbeom gets: 1) the picture or 2) the name of Kyubin's crush.

I feel like we have to understand things from his perspective. Just like if you were to ask Seungtaek how he feels about Inbeom vs how Seunghee feels, you’d definitely get a negative answer from Seungtaek because it’s based on his experiences. Seungtaek was bullied and mocked by Inbeom before he snapped and beat Inbeom up. He’d never think of Inbeom as a nice person like Seunghee would.

Likewise, Suhyeok has been ordered around, cussed out by and beaten up by Inbeom. Inbeom has even threatened him by saying he’d stay in the house forever if Suhyeok doesn’t help him. He’s not spreading a rumour. Saying that he’s speaking ill of Inbeom and shouldn’t because he’s spreading a rumour is invalidating his experiences. It would be like the bully’s friend telling the bully’s victim he has no right to warn others about or be wary about the bully just because he has different experiences. Just like a tiger telling the mouse not to speak ill of an eagle who keeps trying to eat him.

Inbeom has changed, but we shouldn’t forget that he wasn’t always a good guy. I think we should give him a chance since he’s being nice to Seunghee, but not think of his previous victims as malicious because they still don’t like him.

*It would be like the bully’s friend telling the bully’s victim he has no right to warn others about or be wary about the bully just because the bully has never bullied him. Just like a tiger telling the mouse not to speak ill of an eagle who keeps trying to eat him, just because the eagle has never tried to eat the tiger.

Just to compile a list of what Inbeom has done to Suhyeok:
- Beat him up
- Stolen his uniform, making him suffer from heat exhaustion once
- Stolen money Suhyeok’s mother left for Suhyeok
- Ordered him to buy cigarettes
- Cursed him out
- Mocked him and his girlfriend
- Took his food even when Suhyeok said no
- Sprayed ketchup on Suhyeok
- Threatened Suhyeok into helping him find out his crush by saying he’d stay at their house forever

I really have to stress that for me, Suhyeok has every right to warn Seunghee about Inbeom. Inbeom treats Seunghee nicely but not Suhyeok at all. You would feel wronged if I told you not to spread rumours about someone who bullied you relentlessly when those “rumours” are truths to you. Same for Suhyeok.

Well sweetheart, we can agree to disagree :) I just personally think that if you were bullied, you have the right to share your experiences and not be thought of as malicious. It's not right to silence victims and call their sharing of experiences as them spreading rumours (like they're fake and may not have happened).

not sure why people think suhyeok warning seunghee is a bad thing? the things he said could actually happen? he's got the right to try and protect his boyfriend. : if suhyeok wasn't worried about seunghee that he's hanging out with ex-bully inbeom, people would be mad af at him. suhyeok just can't catch a brea
