that was quite impactful. the author did a good job with MC's initial feelings and how they developed as time went by.
other than the rape which i don't condone (it was normal in old BL so i'll jut let that go cuz standards are dff, if you romanticize it recently it's different) and the possessiveness in the last chapter, the plot is very nice. i can relate to the MC a lot and i'm sure a lot of people do too, he's a well-written character most of the time. i love that it's about combating his inferiority complex and bettering himself rather than letting the past hinder him and doing better to make up for the past.

the art style is super pretty but MC's words are just so superficial to me, he only calls Michiru pretty/his artwork and whatnot and that's why he loves him. Idk, i feel like he's only infatuated with his looks although i do think he does care about him sometimes like asking if he feels ok during tattooing.
wish it focused more on clearing up the misunderstandings than him continuing "flirting" with the students. he said he wanted to help students who hate going to school so i was looking forward to that...wish they focused on him actively doing that more. and that other teacher who said teacher and student relationship was ok??? that put me off so much.
i get from an author's standpoint, the sexual harassment was to get the romance moving forward but there are so many different ways to do that. ML needs to learn consent.
Other than that i enjoyed them spending their time hanging out with each other during weekends, that was so domestic and i love that. most enjoyable part of the story.
artstyle was great and it definitely helped a lot with how enjoyable the manga was.

yeah i agree so much I'm glad someone else shared the sentiment. i was looking forward to him helping students who hate/are scared of going to school because it resonated with me, was kind of disappointed and let down the author didn't go that route. MC only talked about it and didn't go through with his actions. The setup of him being a "flirty" teacher would have been fine if he actively changed it in the end and the students see him in a different light. MC was overall too passive in his motivations.
and i really hope authors stop with harassment to get the romance plot moving, it sucks. sucks so much.
