no matter how many chapters of this and the novel i have to read, i will still not like tess periodt
Why
there are alot of reasons why i hate her so i'll just focus on one to avoid any spoilers.
i have read up to 100 chapters of the novel, i really despise her "tsundere" personality when it comes to arthur.
i found it really cute at the beginning however it becomes annoying to the point that i can't i even read her lines in the novel cause its that annoying.
i guess you can compare it to the "it's not like i like you or anything" phrase but hearing it like 35 times a day. doesn't it make you angry and hope you'll never hear it again? that's how i feel about her character up to the point that i have read the novel.
my rant to the "original" MC:
i read some spoilers a while ago and people said that she isn't faking it.
that reason just kind of made her hate her more tbh cause if she knows that it was her fault that MC was treated like that, she could've just distanced herself from the prince if she's really sorry.
i also can't tolerate how she was a noble before and still have no knowledge of BASIC etiquettes and commom sense and i'm pretty sure that nobles in real life also go through those lessons nonetheless fictional nobles.i'm sure that most commoners in the past also know that much
my rant to the prince:
how can you be so fucking stupid. she doesn't even love you but you still act like she's your wife. even though this is just a political marriage, you could have just asked for her consent if it was okay for you to court another girl.
and by speaking of politics, do you know that you're literally just making your chances of being a king smoothly go down the fucking drain?
i am not fond of princes who got married to a commoner since i was young. yes, that would feel like a dream come true but honey, let's just be fucking realistic. with you around, you're just ruining factions that have been made for like decades and just making the factions a mess.
nobody will actually accept you especially with wide gap of social statuses and with the a fuck ton of discrimination.
