First of all, why does he suddenly have boobs?
And the dirty talk. God the dirty talk is atrocious. The use of the words “boy pussy” and “mouth pussy” make me fucking physically recoil.
I thought this was futanari for a second. Turns out they’re just crossdressing, so where the fuck did he get boobs from. Probably the grossest and most obscure doujin I’ve ever read. The boobs and the dirty-talk are both huge turn offs.

super odd pacing at times and the entire story is very predictable
I will say I did enjoy seeing Sihoo and Yesung’s wholesome moments. The entire story is chill and easy to vibe with but the mystery element just wasn’t there. It tried to be a manhwa with a mystery the readers are supposed to eagerly want to know the answer to but..it fails. Really fucking terribly.
The moment the red haired dude who’s supposed to be Sihoo’s best friend (who’s character is so fucking shallow and has little to no depth at all that I forgot his name) is introduced and we’re given the flashback of the rumors in either the same or next chapter, everything is immediately unraveled. Atleast for me it was.
it became crystal clear that red hair was in love with Sihoo and did everything he could to keep him away for Yesung as a result.
there are also multiple unanswered questions. When red hair finds out that Sihoo had reconciled with Yesung he warns Sihoo and says “you used to avoid him” why does Sihoo never question this? I mean, he questioned everything else due to his memory loss but the one thing he should have question, he didn’t.
Yesung also says that red hair was the one who began spreading the rumors about Sihoo being sent to a psyche ward. Firstly, why does he never tell this to Sihoo if he wants to keep him away from red hair so badly? Secondly, we see multiple flashbacks during the same time period that suggests that red hair was in love with Sihoo since their early college days and showed resentment towards Yesung for clinging to Sihoo so...why would he spread the rumors if he liked Sihoo?
it’d have been realistic and better writing to have red hair make efforts to express his feelings for Sihoo but then begin to resent Sihoo for choosing Yesung over him thus spreading the rumors about the psyche ward and him being gay to secretly get back at him. When Sihoo loses his memories and meets Yesung once again, they shouldn’t just get back together with the snap of a finger, it should’ve taken more time. Red hair should have also tried harder to have Sihoo doubt what Yesung had told him about his past thus stirring up conflict and having Sihoo and Yesung drift apart as a result. During this time, red hair would begin to come on to Sihoo.
personally, if I wrote this I would have red hair and Sihoo get together while him and Yesung drifted further apart due to Sihoo’s ability to tell right from wrong when it comes to his memories of Yesung. During this time, Yesung would constantly attempt to get in contact with Sihoo with no progress. And during their time apart, Sihoo should doubt his decision to get with red hair and not talking things out with Yesung. This is probably the part where I’d have him regain his memories of Yesung and then go back to him.
/ / again, the story isn’t terrible but it needs drastic improvements.

What does that even mean. If you’re reading a manga/manhwa, you’re reading it to understand the story. And to understand the story, you have to understand the characters and their feelings. Or else you wouldn’t be reading at all cause nothing would make sense. If I just wanted to “see what it’s about” I would have just read the synopsis and left. You don’t read an entire book to ‘see what it’s about’. It’s seriously not that special.

I dont think you get what I am saying. You may have read the entire book and deemed it as not only "seeing what is was about". However, thats just what it seems to me. You said you paid attention to characters and their feelings but have you not realized how much they loved each other despite their mental state. They depended on each other soo much. They knew they loved each other and needed each other but kept denying it because they have never loved anyone in their entire lives their were only treated with hate and abuse so being loved by another was something new for them so thats why they never really came across to each other as they wanted to. Have you realized that Oh Sangwoo actually fell in love with his mother intimately but made Bum replace his mother but end up falling love with Bun so he got confused and often mixed up both of the characters thinking one was like the other. Did you realized that Bum loved Oh Sangwoo from the start but kindah draw back due to his killings but came to love him again but the reason why he did not stab the police was not because he wanted Oh Sangwoo to go to jail. He wanted Oh Sangwoo to stop killing so they could go back to the days when it was normal. Did you realized that not only Oh Sangwoo had a mental diorder but Bum as well. People ight be saying its just the shock of death that made him hallucinate thinking Oh Sangwoo was there, that was not the case if you read careful youw ould realize that Bum had a mental illness that made him hallucinate throughout the webtoon scenarios that never happened which made him think Oh Sangwoo was there. There is so much more to say but if I have said al this and you still have not seen how they come to love each other knowing each other is sick but depended on each other regardless and could not live without the other. If you still say its not the hype, then in my opinion you never really read the book

God you make KS sound like a romance and it’s sick and disgusting. Sangwoo didn’t love Bum, he loved how easy it was to manipulate Bum. He was sexually attracted to his mother and Bum reminded him of her so he took advantage of Bums feelings for him and began an intimate relationship. Bum was the one person Sangwoo could manipulate and abuse and still have them maintain their feelings for him.
Sangwoo didn’t love Bum as Bum. He loved Bum as a surrogate for his mother. He loved affection that Bum gave him that reminded him of HIS MOTHER. That, in itself, is manipulating Bum into thinking Sangwoo really loves HIM. He doesn’t love him, he loves the part of him that reminds him of his mother.
God, Koogi even said that Sangwoo is fucking straight and here you are saying he fell in love with Bum. They’re relationship isn’t anything to look at and go “oh that’s romantic” you’re supposed to look at it and go “oh that’s fucked up both of these people need to stay the fuck away from each other and be put into psyche wards.”
Also the ending is supposed to be symbolic. In the beginning he began unknowingly chasing a monster and ended up paying the price of becoming his toy. In the end, he’s stuck chasing the illusion of that same monster and dies as a result.
It seems like YOU weren’t the one paying attention to the story.

And don’t you understand that their mental instability is exactly WHY you cannot view this as love?
Did we even read the same book? Bum was being mistreated by his uncle. It’s only natural this would effect his mental state. Having not have been treated well by a relative and then being shown affection by Sangwoo despite all the fucked up shit Sangwoo was doing to Bum created what is called a Trauma Bond. In which a victim will gain an unhealthy attachment to their abuser.

Okay first of all. WE did read the same books we just have different perspectives of the same book. I understand where you said that Sangwoo saw Bum a relief of his sexual affection for his mother. And that Sangwoo was toying with Bum's feelings. Actually this is my second time reading this book so there are alot of things I saw in the story now that I did not see then. I think Sangwoo and Bum loved each other and let me tell you why. In the first part of the book it was due to Bum's obsession with Sangwoo the reason why they met. It was the fact that Bum said he liked Sangwoo the reason why he did not die. When Bum realized the Sangwoo was the killer he was he was afraid of him, afraid that he would be next. But when Sangwoo started to view Bum as his mother thats when he started to treat Bum with a little bit of care. I believe that Sangwoo did not believe that Bum loved him until the time when Bum jerked off in front of Sangwoo and he said "I wish you and I could mix like this" After that he started to treat him with care and started to not let him sleep in the basement but in the room with him. I felt that then Sangwoo still viewed it as how he wanted to be with his mother. I would say Sangwoo did not realized he like Bum. Its not that he did not love I think its because at first hand he treated him with love towards his mother not realized that he actually started to like Bum. If you look back at sometime when he is talking to him, he says things to him that he wanted to say to Bum but had the picture of his Mom in mind. I think his mind actually caught up to it when they were having sex on the table and he started to reminisce on his Mom and recalled when his Mom tried to have sex with him and end up calling out her name but then realized he was having sex with Bum he started to get frustrated as he was saying he was enjoying it but I think he was confused as to who to give his love to his Mom or Bum? Due to the fact that he loved both of them. Also you can see at the end of the book when e repeatedly called out Bum's name would an abuse who is on his death bed call out someone's name repeatedly like that. I believe he loved him but was too late to come to terms with it. Secondly, you said that Koogi said that Sangwoo was straight but that has nothing to do with the fact that he sucked Bum off. You see that he was hesitant but did it later down when they were behaving like a normal couple. So loving someone can allow you to do things for them that you dont normally do. Back when Bum asked him to suck him off he got up in the night and vomited. Did he vomit when he finished sucking Bum in the chapter later down NO!. Not because the author says he is straight means that may not have a double meaning. The fact that they are both mental unstable and that they can allow each other to find peace in the other is okay. What about in the chapter when Sangwoo killed Bum's uncle did you recall how they behaved when they were apart. It actually wasn't a Trauma Bond the love was there from before Bum just accepted him for his additional character. The fact that they found somewhat peace with each other is beautiful never said it was romantic nothing about the book is suppose to be romantic I just meant that it was extremely beautiful. Thank you

Yeah and I’m telling you the love WASNT mutual because Sangwoo saw bum as a surrogate for his mother. Bum did love Sangwoo. He was just unaware of his true character. The second he began to maintain those feelings for Sangwoo after having his legs broken by him, even facing mental and physical abuse by him, it became a trauma bond. It’s not cute for a victim to be in love with their abuser it’s due to Bums mental instability that he was unable to recognize his relationship with Sangwoo was 100% inappropriate and was plain abuse through and through. Because Sangwoo had seemed to showed him affection quite a few times, Bum became attached despite the abuse he faced from Sangwoo because he wasn’t used to feeling affection from another due to his abusive uncle.

I just view it a different way. We are conversing like this saying are opinions I heard what you have to say and you heard what I had to say. Do really still dont see the hype look at the contrasting side of the story that cannot only be grasped from one read but two reads or even more. This story would have been alright, in my opinion, had Seungho not have raped Na-Kyum in the beginning. From then on it became obvious that this was going to be another ‘falling in love with the rapist’ ordeal
I understand that while rape and abuse isn’t criticized by the characters (due to the time period where this is practically normalized and excused) you’re still supposed to clearly sympathize with Na-Kyum and view Seungho as the bad guy. You’re supposed to understand why he doesn’t want to be at the estate with Seungho And why he constantly tries to run away.
I understand the want for realism when it comes to the time period. I have no doubt that rape would be prevalent if this were to actually happen during the time period, but would it not also be realistic to have Na-Kyum be deeply traumatized by Seungho? Instead he’s influenced by the words of a housekeeper whom despises him and ends up becoming highly submissive to him because, thanks to the housekeepers words, he thinks he’s only good at whoring around now. I can understand this to an extent. But the transition from Na-Kyum being afraid of Seungho to being submissive to him due to the verbal abuse from the housekeeper is just way too fucking fast. And I think it would have been more realistic to have Na-Kyum hate Seungho even more for slandering his name and having him reduced to nothing more than a whore in the eyes of others.
Now that Seungh has begun to fall in love with Na-Kyum, this is supposed to be his redemption arc. He’s gonna end up realizing his feelings for Na-Kyum And regretting all the abuse and stress he but him through. I don’t have high hopes for as to how this will be executed.
I seriously hate the whole “falling in love with the rapist” thing and frankly, the only thing that’s kept me reading this is the emphasis put on the fact that what Seungho is doing to Na-Kyum is wrong. And although he’s in denial at first, Seungho begins to realize it himself once he begins to realize his feelings. This and taking into account the time period are the only things that’ve kept me reading.

I didn’t go into this expecting much
And I didn’t get much in return so-
when are we going to get a doujin where rape is deeply criticized and the Uke doesn’t end up loving it in the middle and goes all tsundere afterwards or fall in love with their rapist
The fact that Dante kidnapped the priest and raped him over and over in order to make him lose sight of his morals and fall victim to his desires is ridiculous and is a big yikes.
When he came back to Dante full fucking atheist and tried to fuck him, showing him that he no longer believed god was watching over him, I can’t say I didn’t laugh when he showed Orlando that he didn’t have a dick anymore.
Like what the fuck is this lmao

It’s so fucking annoying when a manga is consistently good for 5+ arcs and then the final arc just fucks it all up and shit all over the world building and development made in the previous chapters.
Why was Sinbad a staple in the final arc when he’s a staple in his own fucking manga. The writing and execution for the final arc was subpar considering how fucking amazing the previous arcs have been. Sinbad really wasn’t an interesting character to watch develop in the final arc and his reasons for stirring up conflict are utter bullshit.
It seems like Ohtaka Shinobu rushed to throw a bunch of bullshit together and called it a final arc. Even the art could be considered bad in comparison to the other arcs. I wouldn’t be surprised if she came up with this while taking a literal shit.
Magi isn’t terrible by any means. It’s definitely a great shounen with a unique premise and a rather interesting world. All of that is just thrown down the drain when we’re served this piece of dog shit on a golden platter. We’re given no time to adapt to the new world. The old world was so interesting and I loved everything about it, but I’m supposed to abandon that for this pseudo advanced new word that Sinbad has created. I can definitely appreciate it and I still love it. Just fuck the final arc and Sinbad.

    The_Devils_Advocate September 20, 2020 7:01 pm

I agree that the final arc was pretty much rushed and messed up. But Sindbad had to be part of it. After watching it over and over, I understood that it was meant from the very beginning, or at least somewhat there, that Sindbad would be the villain. I never liked him, he was too fishy, but then I understood why after reading the manga. He was already half fallen, and since he got his first djinn, he used his power to force other people to do what he want. Like how he forced Spartos father, the King, for example. He had to be a villain at the end, because in truth he was it from the very beginning. Always scheming, calculating, and forcing others... I just wanted to understand how much it really came from him, and how much from David. Did David manipulate him that much, or was he already like this? Not sure about it. I just felt sorry for Jafar. Even though he noticed how much Sindbad changed, he was still thankful to him.

God this was so fucking annoying to read. the last few chapters are the only thing good about this. Other than that it was just a cluster fuck of a Manhua about a Hyung who wants a novel romance. Honestly just the concept of the Uke just roleplaying through the whole relationship annoyed the fuck out of me.
