It's really annoying seeing this comment section filled with people talking about ships when so much more interesting stuff is going on in the story. But alas, it seems people only care about who's going to be with who

I don't understand all this criticism directed towards the FL. People keep saying she's selfish and pathetic and that she shouldn't be so desperate to get the prince. I admit, I can understand why some may see her as annoying - but I find her more interesting than most isekai heroines who are always perfect, intelligent and beautiful and can never do any wrong. Besides, even if she doesn't pursue the prince and goes firm her own path, the "friend" of hers would ruin it - that's what happened with her former fiance
But dude. If things did go by the path of Novel, the MC can easily choose her own path because her snake of a friend is too busy fucking the prince. Why go back on tormenting the MC when the friend would be too focused on the prince. Also--the reason why MC was seen as the villianess in the novel was because she kept going in between their "love". She can finally escape all the tormenting but noooooo she wants to dream big despite being outsmarted in every single thing. Even with the novel, she doesn't use it to combat her "friend". Find out her secrets or weaknesses. But nope, she uses it to get it on with the prince. Even when she knew about the anaragonist's secret, she STILL gets outsmarted somehow. Ex. The necklace swap abd her cheating fiance. Why does she keep relying on her cheating fiance who is so obviously smitten. Not only has he failed her once, twice...But multiple fucking times. So many examples of the MC failing despite having a cheat(the novel). I've seen dumb MCs but never to this level of pathetic.
