Well it actually said Calling... Elaine. The fact that there was an ellipses between the word and name indicated to me that it was telling us who was calling. Also Elaine could have easily brought her phone with her. Plus there is the fact that Elaine may have been calling her regardless of whether she knew Sera was back or not. After all she wouldn't have known that Sera's phone had been taken away from her.
BUT, and this is the reason why I think you are more likely to be correct than myself, at the same time, there is only a huge red button underneath Elaine's call signature, presumably meant for ending a call, which begs the question why there wasn't a green answer button if it was Elaine calling?
I think Arlo's gonna do the same thing Claire did and turn the whole school against John and try and defeat him. Arlo doesn't look like the type to just accept an ass kicking quietly esp when he's been on top for so long.
