If you don’t want romance then don’t read it anymore (▰˘◡˘▰) I for one really like the progression of the romance of both of them. All action kinda get boring. Plus it’s not like really serious. It was more funny like thirteen year old kids
I think the main discrepancy comes between the novel readers and those who are just reading the manhwa. I honestly don't mind romance in a lot of plots, but I personally don't like Tess at all because of a lot of her decisions and actions. On top of that, IMO her whole personality is "Arthur", I really never felt like she was in any way her own person due to her obsession with him with no other portrayals of her existing. I will admit it does feel more toned down in the manhwa, but I think that also plays a part in the difference of viewpoints on her.
