For those wondering abt the remarriage thing, its because of the debt situation. Basically when they were still married (legally, on paper and all) he borrowed a huge amount of money under the mc's name. So the mc took on the burden of paying it all back. But by Korean law and for most debt collectors, any debt is applicable to the whole household so both husband and wife have to pay it back. The asshole didnt want that so it was implied he convinced the mc to divorce (on paper but they still live together as u can see) until she pays back HIS debt. Since he didnt start working until recently, he didnt have ~any~ money.

This is such a refreshing change from the usual blushing stuttering Mc that u can see everywhere, not that theres any wrong with it necessarily. But I find myself enjoying the character dynamics of sitong and zichen a lot more, especially when the slow burn is so realistic as well
