they're trying to get hanako back so they went into this red house for some reason and then they met tsukasa (the younger) and it turns out that tsukasa long ago made a wish in order to save hanako (back when he was yugi amane) but he had to sacrifice himself in exchange. i guess the implication is that whatever is going around in tsukasa's body today isn't him?? maybe?? i'm just throwing that out there.
anyway, yashiro got separated from kou and ended up where she was in that last chapter (where all the sacrifices end up) and now they've been rejoined again!

Yashiro’s friend was left in the border. Hanako took her in exchange of making yashiro’s life longer. Basically, hanako cut off friend’s life short and gave it to yashiro.
