Also honestly, all I feel for them rn is pity. Even in this post apocalyptic plot all I see here is strategically placed smut. It feels awfully rid of substance, and just sex sandwiched into a subpar apocalyptic story.
Also made me realize how there is absolutely no manhwa that have brought out any existentialist thoughts from me.
Also fuck the bleeding in the raws. The sex is so unnecessarily rough, it's actually brutal. The mc was bleeding from the nose, the ass, and his body is just so full of bitemarks blood stains from himself.
The plot is picking up tho, it's getting good. But the brutality is so goddamn fucked. What the hell.
Aeju is famous for writing toxic stories. When I first started reading BL back in 2017, one of my first reads was Hogu Hagyeongsu and lemme tell you, I'm still traumatized by the story.

The rape after he had established a boyfriend relationship made it unbearable. Angering. Out of the 1000 mangas and manhwa I've read, and out of the 3000+ novels I've read in my lifetime. This had angered me the most, enough to induce a panic attack. I hated this so much. I wish I did not have the curiosity to read it.
It was unexplainably idiotic. He does not have values. Anyone doesn't have a sliver of values. They were compliant and exceptionally uncritical that it angered me each chapter I read. I felt like I was reading into the lives of puppets that was following a script, no will of their own but to the graces of the script written by a curious 16 year old who wanted to integrate exactly 3 rape scenes in one book.
I cannot express or explain how distasteful the rape in this was. I've read a multitude of toxic
and dark romance books, but this book did not need it the most. It could've developed without rape. I hate the author for simply attempting to do this distasteful shit in such a great base for story.

There was no remorse coming from the main character. And then the ML also can’t take no for answer. The characters are so vague and boring. I loved the concept of the hero and villain thing, but as you said it feels like the characters don’t have…a personality fr. It felt like a script.
I came back to this after some months and it’s still dog crap. It’s constant rape & sex. The sex isn’t even that good! I guess I could understand if the author really wanted just straight sex scenes throughout the story, however there is a way to go about it. How do you fumble 20+ chapters..?! The plot could’ve been better than that. I’ve seen better books than that.
