Okay so spoiler after ch59 but basically he goes batshit crazy and starts killing everyone who comes inside the mansion because he only wants to be w her, and anyone who comes in is probably gonna wanna solve the puzzle and get out, when he doesn’t want to. But she gets angry and she makes a deal with the fourth floor person, which basically is like the previous deal they had that was shown in the manhwa. But for this new deal, she borrows some of their power to manipulate him. In return for this power to has to give up something dear as punishment, and the thing she has to give up is the ML. The fourth floor door also states that to get him out, and get her power in which she can move things through words alone, she needs to get rid of her humanity. So for her plan she uses that borrowed power and makes him go into a dream-like state where she treats him badly like hella bad, she’s manipulative and treats him worse than an insect and he’s there tryna beg for her love. And he fully goes 100% corruption when in his hallucination he sees her kiss a new guys who comes through the door. But anyways he wakes up and she’s next to him, she’s obviously still in love w him but she can’t show it. And basically she explains that he is her humanity and she has to let him go to release him back into the world. She then kind of faints as he’s holding onto her because of the assimilation, and it reveals that in the og story of Charlotte, she met a man, who was the ML, and it followed the same story from when he was manipulated by the undead (I just don’t wanna write all that out). But same name and everything. And boom, because of that assimilation, the percentage went up and she was able to use her powers of doing anything with words, she is now able to open the door for the ML. However there are actually knights outside who have been looking for him and the people who disappeared and this one genius knight had a hunch it was cursed and he was right so she hired sorcerers to help solve the curse, they then attack the mansion to try and save the people inside. However this was when she was tryna open the door anyways so because they attacked the mansion and she is a part of it, she was also getting hurt. The ML was by her side but she knew this was the right moment for him to finally escape so she uses her word power for him to kill her when she goes outside, for him to not cry for her, and to lose his memories of the time he had in the mansion. And so he denies this like he doesn’t want to do it but eventually he can’t help it because she is forcing him with her power. She eventually goes outside and attacks the knights outside but the ML comes and stabs her, which is celebrated but he feels sad and doesn’t know why, because the effect of her power is taking place. To not forget her, he writes her name on his arm with his sword. He then says the words she told him to say, which was to burn the corpse of the demon and spread the ashes around the mansion to get rid of the curse. Which the knights do, they give him the honor to throw her in the fire but he looks at her and can’t help but feel confused and hurt about this situation, the knights kind of rush him so he throws her in the fire but he feels awful and lowkey wants to kill everyone there for celebrating. They kind of go back to the church and everyone celebrates him and congratulates him but he still ain’t having none of it, he can’t remember nothing and he doesn’t know what the name on his arm means. He walks around clueless but he saw a glimpse of of gold hair and he starts running to it, which was just a regular girl, so he climbs a clock tower and bashes his head until he remembers, or idk if he actually remembered but he knew he was in love with the demon. (Novel chapters 144-174) sorry if it’s a little confusing but I just needed to let curious people know cuz I’m one myself
