Anastacious is the actual brother but what I think it’s hinting at and this is purely speculation is that something else is living in his body and that he actually did die when claude killed him all those years back and took the throne but because it’s a ‘defective’ body or something It wants to take jeanette’s body instead
Aeternitas is the previous emperor from 200 years ago that got rejected by Lucas and started to learn black magic. When Claude killed anastacius he is barely breathing but Aeternitas saved him and used him for his evil deeds. Aeternitas is using Anastacius (he's controlling him) as you can see from this chapter there's something he said about the body and he cannot do anything about it. It's the damage Anastacius' body got when Claude killed him.
Aeternitas also urge Anastacius to kill Claude's mother when they are still younger.
correct me if I'm wrong, Anastacious is the actual brother of daddy claude who died already. The one who is possessing his dead body is aeternitas, the person Lucas rejected. Remember that guy who got rejected by Lucas before he slept? Yeah its him
Anastacious is Claudes older brother who was later on dethroned/killed by him. Aeternitas was previously a weak child who had no strong magic and used black magic instead. Since Lucas showed no interest on him.
