I'm kinda upset with the anime.. It's not the same with the manga in some chapters.. like for example the episode where the swordsmith - Bardel was introduced..he handshakes people to measure their strength.. it was not shown in the anime.. I was especially looking forward for that to be shown in the anime cause it highlights Beryl's strength and he was compared to a Leviathan.. I was kinda bummed it was not shown
I have not seen the anime, but the part with the handshakes is missing form the light novel too. I was really sad when i read the novel and couldn't find it there. Maybe the anime is closer to the novel rather to the manga.
