Did anyone figure out exactly WHAT, then, was what made the mother stop having the bad-luck-thing? I mean, they said it happened when she got pregnant, so... Could it be that the host has to find someone else to pass on the gene always? Though since the two are a gay couple and probably won't have children it seems the bad-luck thing found its natural balance divided between the two.
