Okay tbh I feel that in the first chapter the sister wasn’t supposed to be the villain that she’s being portrayed as, she looked genuinely concerned for her family and country and betrayed that Her sister would stand against what’s threatening the life’s of millions. ofc what they did to Fleta isn’t right and is never going to be justified but that’s not the point I’m trying to make it felt forced that the older sister is one of the antagonists. I understand the dad being greedy and everything for a fact what he has for his daughter isn’t love but obsession and a want to control her powers. The older sister did seem a little weird to me but thats all I wanted to say
in my opinion, i dont think it was too forced. the author does a great job of portraying the oldest sister as an antagonist and fleshed out her motive and backstory and made it believable. the true antagonist for me is the father: selfish, narrow-minded, and sees everyone except himself as pawns, even his favorite daughter. he was the main reason the eldest daughter turned into a bitch, however it doesnt excuse anything shes done to fleta. those were the choices she decided to make. tbh both fleta and the eldest sister are treated the same way by their father tho fleta’s treatment js worse. i was expecting her to understand fleta’s pain from being pushed aside and treated as second-rate because of their summons. however she chose to project her insecurities onto that child and hurt her to make herself feel better and thats just not cool
Atleast she's the type of side villain who have good reasoning & backstory. In most of manhwas the female antagonist usually acts like a bitch.

I want them all to just be happy :( i always end up feeling bad for whoever is the second ml bc they also deserve to be loved. chill out luh nga. you are supposed to feel bad for choi m. you’re supposed to feel for him. he’s a character that doesn’t know how to love because he was raised that way. when he does find someone, that someone doesn’t feel the same. usually, the mc would teach him how to love someone properly. but the mc doesn’t love him, so he’s still genuinely an awful person, and will continue to be like this and get worse. that’s the purpose of pairing up (mentally ill, and emotionally unstable crazy maniac tops) with (super sweet, kind and caring sane bottoms).
