I love seeing ugly babies in media uvu
Frankly, most babies are ugly and wrinkly, especially right after being born so it's always weird when theirs a birth scene in manhwa and they pull out a smooth, anime baby
What's gotten into him?
Nothing, dw about it.
But
What's gotten into you?
Fingers.
I'm a chapter or two late but wtf??? How tf did that happen to the zucchini???? She drained it of its fuckin life force or something like a vampire.
Also, why the fuck would you use a zucchini???? A cucumber makes sense but zucchinis are prickly and I mean you can wash them to scrape off all the spiny little hairs, but I wouldn't trust it enough to shove it up there -- imagine you miss a few of the prickly hairs. The itch you have would be impossible to deal with, I'd throw myself off a bridge.
I mean, it's funny
But also
I know his character thing is blaming his feelings and everything on Yeowoon because of the misguided notion that Yeowoon liked him and was coming into him first
But "you stole my first kiss" ?? That's a whole new level of immature and blatantly blaming your actions on others. "You made me like you" or "my feelings are your fault" has been played up and is funny but there's a difference between not taking accountability for your feelings in an attempt to distance yourself from them and not taking accountability for your actual actions so it really just had me rolling my eyes
The way all the women are introduced where their clothes are just see through for no reason???
Fine whatever.
But I lost my actual shit when then saintess and red hair noble girly were like angrily squishin their tits against each other
Anyway, even just from a pov, it's kinda just dogshit
Their use of light and color is unlike anything I've ever seen before and it's all so maximalist in the coolest way
There's also something about the way they draw the Barat family (especially the duchess) that is so fucking uncanny and I love it because yes, they are undeniably beautiful, but there's a scariness to them
"Did you hit your head?" She asks as if she wasn't the one who literally just bashed in his brains so hard his soul left his body.
This translator had a real struggle with pronouns; generally speaking, they're not as straight forward in east asian languages and this amateur translation shows that because nearly every pronoun is replaced with "I". You have to be more intuitive and identify the subject of each sentence and make sure the pronouns properly reflect who is actually being spoken about
It's pretty bad manners to trauma dump on the first date.
Even worse manners to suddenly take off your clothes suddenly and start touching and grabbing without consent.
When they first got together it felt really rough even during the good parts, because it wasn't even a year after his divorce and he still had that whole messy situationship with hanjoon(?). He really did read like an immature and unhealed individual and that really peaked in how he ended things with eunho. It was terrible to see but thinking about it from a realistic standpoint, it's the only outcome that really made sense. From the outside you want to scream JUST ACCEPT HIS LOVE YOU FUCKING IDIOT YOU LITERALLY BOTH LOVE EACH OTHER WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM
But guy really just has been dealing with traumatic shit since he was a kid that he never really unpacked and got to know who he was or what he wanted which is why at the end he still looks at his past relationships and how he treated them with regret, because he knew he was the problem and he just wasn't ready to confront why. It's not super cut and dry but it feels real in that way and I really appreciate it.
Even tho sometimes I wanted to throw my phone so hard that jaeha could feel the impact.
