Never Understand
Well, this is interesting! A hot guy that's kind of an asshole falls for an ugly guy full of fury. All the expressions in this is nothing short of amazing, huge props to the artist for that!
Edit ch82: to be honest, i gave up on this for a while. the story got on my nerves, but when i finally decided to take it up again... god was i mistaken. the story developed beautifully, it wrenched at my heart in all the right ways, and adressed things i could never dream of being executed well (which they were). and it all turned out well in the end! amazingly well, with everything properly resolved, can you believe that? jaerim and yuri as so stupidly in love and it pulls a smile right out of me to see them being happy with each other. overall, i thought this story was great. i don't know if it's gonna continue after this, but if this is the end, i want to say this: this story was great from start to finish. yuri seems like an unreasonable jerk at the start, but as he falls in love with jaerim he treats him with love and respect. when his past trauma was being dealt with, he was depicted realistically, and i loved how he realised his past mistakes doesn't make him unable to love, or be loved. jaerim is a sweetheart, and i'm glad the people in this comic could see that. he's truly a good guy through and through, and even if he doesn't look the best, he can also still be loved. yuri saw the beauty that was inside, and became ridiculously attracted to him despite his 'uglyness'. where everyone saw gross little jaerim, yuri saw an amazing guy that he loves.
This review is probably littered with bad grammar, but it's nearly 3am and some of my fingers are covered with chocolate that i don't want to get on the keyboard, so i'll conclude this review here. please read this, even if it seems like it'll be another no good story about an unhealthy gay relationship, because i can assure you it isn't. i mean come one, there was even homophobia in it, how often do you see that adressed? some side stories were not as good as the main one, but they're still okay. as always, amazing art that only got better with time, i have no shortage of praise for this manhwa!
Edit ch85: and that's the end! The author gave the side stories a proper ending and all in all, they were very heart warming and I really liked them, idyllic as they were. I'm happy this story has come to an end and isn't being dragged out, and that all these characters ended up likeable. Overall, and I don't know how many times I've said this now, I really really like this story! It's nice and well made, and ends on a happy and content note. Something I'd recommend to just about everyone!
