Jan 16, 2016: That was a lot of sweetness and angst all at the same time wrapped up in a neat little manhwa-bow. Really hooked, not much more to say, I like it a lot.

Update, ch 30: At the end of the 20s, chapter-wise, the characters start to irritate me so much that I've actually grown to dislike this story. I might continue reading when a couple more chapters are up, but as of right now I'm gonna put this on hold.

Update, ch 36: I didn't read the chapters up until this one, I just wanted to quickly see the development in the story. I still don't like it. I can share mc's pain in the last few pages, but he really screwed himself over by himself.

Nov 4, 2017: I deleted most of my review to get a clean slate for whenever I decide to read this manhwa. I see it's completed, something I always get a little surprised by for some reason, and I feel like I should give it an honest shot. It's been a hot minute since I started reading this and I honestly did really like it, and from what I've heard the story really redeems itself. Hopefully my anger for this story will have long petered out by then.

btw, this story's making me sob and shriek like never before. It was actually the first thing I read that was ongoing, which was a couple of months back. It took me a second read to get me hooked, and a third to make me obsessed. Old Xian, many blessings to you, this story is a work of art. The more I reread it the deeper and better the story gets. It really pays attention to detail, which makes this manhua more exceptional than it already is. Recommended to everyone in this universe, fujoshi or not.
