I want to add my voice to those giving thanks to the uploader. I'm very excited to see this series picked up and where it is heading.

Let me add " Dark is good, too"!

I had forgotten how this story began, it's been so long ago. Seeing the summary made me think I might reread the whole thing the next time it updates.....

I read this, beginning to end, and I loved it! But I have to ask. Where does 'Navy Blue' come from for the title? Is that the color of unrequited love or is it the color you turn when your love is unrequited? Or did the editor say "Well, we have to call it SOMETHING!"

According to google navy blue signifies Power, Authority, and Importance

I'm years late into this and it's also quite a stretch, but this is something I thought about too coz it's just odd considering the title and content of the manga. But here's what I came up with: In chapter 5, when the uke visited the seme's school, he saw one of the classmates with the same jacket color as his sister which is bell pepper red, then the seme was surprised saying navy blue is the color in demand so why is the school sticking to that color. It was a quick exchange and felt kinda out of place, and also the only scene that referred to the title; this is just my interpretation but I think the colors pertain to manga genre, with red bell pepper (shoujo/het stuffs) vs navy blue (BL/homo stuffs), when the seme made his remark, it was sort of metaphorical, referring to the actual trend of BL mangas during the release/production of this work. Having said that, the title just means "BL Story" or something lol

Hey, it's a reason based on actual dialogue from the story. (Which I missed!)
I'll go with it. I have this manga marked as a potential 'reread' so I will remember to watch for the referenced quote.

    Cheers!

This story needs a continuation. There's some loose ends that could be wrapped up, if nothing else. Plus, I just want to see more of them! Too cute and wholesome. There ain't enough of that going around if you know what I mean.

Pg.2 Golem " The return of Baltro, which threatens the end of the world, is nearing".
Pg.4 Evan " But, even then, I doubt I'll be able to defeat an enemy strong enough to destroy the world".......at least, not in 22 pages, LOL!!

Cut to one of the lamest endings, ever!!

for Creativity.
for Style.
for coherence.
I like the fact that this mangaka met absolutely none of my expectations with the story and left me completely befuddled at the end. I see from the comments that most the other readers had to stretch themselves to try and understand what they had read as well. I don't think this story was meant to have a clearly defined end. And that's okay.

Definitely worth reading. Definitely NOT worth re-reading. (Or at least not until my IQ has been boosted 10-20 points.)

The poor translators telling us at the end of the chapter, a little apologetically, to hang in there until October and I'm thinking to myself 'No big deal! That's nothing to someone who's prayed for Super Lovers to update!

it's been so long that I actually forgot the plot( ̄∇ ̄")

I know right!! Whenever a long BL series update I have to read the whole manga from start, I seriously can't remember the plot ToT

While I agree with those who find certain spots in the story to be confusing, I give this manga high marks for the tacit acceptance of homosexuality, and because everyone's life is headed in a different direction. We all know what that's like..........

    Right!

I love the how this manga is written and presented, yes, it's somewhat of got hot mess.

But, that's why I love it. Because life, or at least my life, is like that.

In real life with people, you go from:

    "You're a dick!"

    to

"Oh, you are going through so much and that's why you act like a dick, I get it now!"

    and back to

    "But, you're still a dick!!"

In this story, people are not good or bad, they are just doing the best they can in life.

I love all the characters, but most of the time, I am like "Why? Why? Why the fuck are you doing that?!" with each character!

And I want people to get how real this manga is, which is why I write long ass summaries (that need proof reading)...

    Ubermo May 7, 2018 6:01 am

LOL! Hot mess!! Yes, well put!

The mangaka must have had a good laugh ( at our expense ) creating Koutarou in the first story. A doe eyed, throw him down and mess him up, cutie pie of an uke. And by the end of the story he is virtually untouched, brushed aside ( literally ) and out of the picture. Such a waste........( T _ T )

Busted, so-o-o-o-o-o busted!! :p. I feel for ya' both..........
