In my experience, had what felt like a whole-mouth tooth ache for like a week and half and then it calmed down. The sensation of having them in your mouth is super weird at first but you get used to it. Ask your dentist if you're also going to need a retainer after you get the braces off tho, because that was a super unpleasant surprise for me. Min......
